The hotel resort area on Groa Island is made up of more than 4000 coconut trees and other typical tropical fruits that have been grown organically without any chemical based fertilizers. On the other end of the island, the grass lawns wind up on white sand beach bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.

The beach is around 25 km long and it has been named after by the state authorities as´´ Captain Nikolas Beach´´ (Broken Car - Falesias) and it has been elected one of the six most beautiful beaches on the Brazilian coastline.

Three miles off the Cost you will see the Coral Reef Area which is the world´s second largest coral reserve and next to it you will come across one of the prettiest natural sea swimming pools.

On the other side of the Island, there is Santo Antonio River with its vast mangrove and hundreds of different species of crabs.

We have been operating again ever since last April our Five Star Boutique Captain Nikolas Island Ecological Resort Hotel made up of 30 cottages (150 beds), front desk, administration, restaurant, service areas, four steam saunas, conference room, night clubs, play-ground, games room, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pool, beach volleyball, kiosk, also boat trips to the natural swimming pools and the Santo Antonio River.
